Thanks to Shespeaks.com I had an opportunity to attend the Taste of Home Cooking School show in Mansfield, Ohio last night! It was an awesome time. I had never been to a Taste of Home show and was awestruck by how many people there were. (approx 2,100) Of course, being a guest of She Speaks, I had the best seats in the house! When we arrived, the parking lot was full and I was afraid we would have bad seats. What a pleasant surprise to find out that we had reserved seats up in the fourth row! Awesome!
I am so thankful we ate dinner before the show, as it did not end until 10:00. A little long….However, I did learn a few tricks of the cooking trade that I did not know. My husband attended with me and was such a great sport!
If you ever get a chance to visit on the Cooking shows, it is worth it!

It has been a while since I last posted anything. I am trying to refrain from shopping unless it is too good of a deal to pass up. I have stockpiled quite a bit in the short time I have been doing this, and really don’t NEED anything. I am currently spending some time with my mom in North Carolina. Have been trying to show her the ropes about how to coupon. When I went to the store with her, I realized why I love OHIO. The food prices here are insane. Finding good deals down here is HARD WORK! Today will be out first official grocery store trip. I should be able to score some CHEAP laundry detergent. Wisk is on sale at Food Lion for $2.99 and I have a $1 off coupon. That’s a pretty good deal. We are getting items for my neices baby shower, so, not sure how much we will be able to save. Will keep you posted!
